  Not recognised; two pastors were jailed for doing it in 2017.

• ChinaBanned

  The law requires 9 years of school; teaching at home isn't allowed.

• TürkiyeBanned

  Kids must attend ministry schools, the ministry said in April 2026.

• North MacedoniaBanned

  Home lessons only for very sick pupils, and the school runs them.

• RomaniaBanned

  In 2025 two families got suspended prison terms for it.

• GreeceBanned

  Not enrolling your child can mean up to 2 years in prison.

• BrazilBanned

  Supreme Court: not allowed until Congress passes a law. It hasn't.

• GermanyBanned
